Entry forms for the competition on 16 November will be submitted this week for Gemma's & Laura's team aswell as solo's and duet's. The fee of £5 per swimmer is payable as soon as possible, please.
More Congratulations....
....to Aimee Hill and Alice Dewhirst who both achieved their Skill Level 2 on 11 October.
There have been some important amendments to the Club Constitution which can be viewed here. Should anyone have any concerns or questions regarding these questions, you have 28 days (until 13 November 2008) to contact a member of the committee. After this time the changes will be accepted.

Knottingley Novice Competition
Congratulations to Megan Knight for achieving a Gold medal and to Ellie Spence who narrowly missed out on a medal but came 4th out of 77. A fantastic achievement for both girls. The results of the competiton can be seen here
Congratulations to Charlotte Howarth, Sarah Norton, Olivia Mason-Hippey & Millie Richardson who all achieved their Rec Grade 1 on 20th May. Several other swimmers, unfortunately, just missed out on their respective grades but now know what areas to concentrate on for next time.
Knottingley Parents & Swimmers Meeting 6 April
For those parents/swimmers who were unable to attend the meeting held at Knottingley Leisure Centre on 6 April, the information that was handed out is available to view here
This year's Aquashow was a huge success. Thank you to everyone who made it possible. Despite all the hard work you all put in, we hope you thoroughly enjoyed it as well.
A DVD of the show is now available and we hope to put some photos from the show on the web site soon.
At Leeds Kingfishers we award a trophy to the best swimmer of the month. This is not purely based on competition results but also on improvement, dedication, effort and committment. The result is decided by our coaches who regularly asses each member on a session by session basis.
